Toast with Avo is one of my favorite options for breakfast, lunch or just a snack!
Mug Rugs are the perfect size for holding your snack time / coffee time / tea time beverage and treat.
They make great gifts as well.
AVO & TOAST Mug Rugs contains 2 complimentary designs to create a set. Each design has a special indentation to hold a mug or cup.
This pattern caters for the lefthanded and righthanded crocheter as well as options for Color Changes (using 4 colors) or NO Color Changes (using only the traditional 2 colors for interlocking crochet).
ALL options are clearly marked on the PDFS.
For the crocheter who wishes to attempt Interlocking crochet with color changes, there are 2 additional tutorial PDFS
I would suggest using a #2 Sport weight yarn so that you get a reasonable sized mug rug.
I used Catania by Schachenmayr
Yarn Usage FOR NO COLOR CHANGES:
Col A – 2 x balls
Col B – 2 x balls
Yarn Usage FOR COLOR CHANGES:
Col 1 – 1 x ball
Col 2 – 2 x balls
Col 3 – 1 x ball
Col 4 – 1 x ball
with a 2.5mm hook.
I used a 2.0mm hook for the borders
