Interlocking Crochet Pattern
A design to not only help you use up all those bits of yarn, but also create something functional for the home.
Coasters are a great gifting idea for any occassion
Stash Buster Coasters is a set of 2 with mug indents in either a square or circle shape. The idea is derived from my mug rug designs.
Both designs are symmetrical.
I used sport weight (4ply / #2) cotton yarn.
Per coaster my yarn usage was just less than 10g per color.
This design is small and easy enough for people who are new interlocking crochet.

They make great gifts as well. AVO & TOAST Mug Rugs contains 2 complimentary designs to create a set. Each design has a special indentation to hold a mug or cup. This pattern caters for the lefthanded and righthanded crocheter as well as options for Color Changes (using 4 colors) or NO Color Changes (using only the traditional 2 colors for interlocking crochet). For the crocheter who wishes to attempt Interlocking crochet with color changes, there are 2 additional tutorial PDFS I would suggest using a #2 Sport weight yarn so that you get a reasonable sized mug rug.
